TPEX involvement in e-commerce dates back to when we built one of the first stores for Microsoft games on the Internet in 1996 using Site Server. We also designed and developed many interations of a State of California benefits
site that helped disseminate information about services and allowed scheduling and registrations over the Internet. We then assisted Hewlett-Packard at ATT Universal Card Services with smartcard transactions for the Internet, Open Markets e-commerce TCL and built the back end reconciliations and ACH transactions. Then we built the Logictech mouse e-store, a large scale business to business web site that a HUD/FHA organization uses all over the United States, redid Conduit
Software's web site, built marketing collateral ordering and global distribution extranet, and most recently assisted Wal-Mart with the design and testing of their new merchandise site using BroadVision on HP/UX. Prior to the web most TPEX employees worked for traditional Fortune 1000 companies learning about object oriented software development, SNA, UNIX and politics. We helped build a few of the world's leading Smartcard software solutions, from digital e-cash wallets and consumer payment applications to smartcard transaction servers for the Internet and smartcard interfaces to vending machines. Link to an explanation of
TPEX assisted AT&T Universal Card Services to secure financial transactions on the Internet using the Mondex Stored-Value Smartcards. We worked with Hewlett-Packard to build Smartcard infrastructures for processing and managing commercial smartcard transactions over the Internet. In conjunction with HP our people also worked with Verifone to integrate the Mondex Stored-Value Smartcard infrastructure into the Veri-Smart POS and credit verification product lines.
TPEX built software for vending machine that automate the process of configuration, maintaining inventory levels, tracking sales and route logistics, and managing cash more efficiently. Our Smartcard experiences includes GemPlus, Schlumberger and Mondex.
